Italy on my brain

I was thinking about Italy today. And I thought I'd help people learn a bit about Italy, or how the great region where the locals refer to as "The Land of the Rising Sun."

Anywho, Italy is a big country in a place called "Europe." Europe is a collection of other countries, some big and some small, where many funny-sounding languages are spoken. Italy has lots of great fashion and food, like pasta, cheese, spaghetti sauce, Canadian bacon, canteloupe, salad dressing, and Italian meatball sandwiches. These sandwiches are sometimes called "Italians." They're named after the people in Italy, who are also called "Italians." I'm sure that's a little confusing to some, as nobody would want to eat a person, especially when they thought they were getting a sandwich. But I think these types of mix-ups are few and far between.

About the people: they smoke a lot and ride motorcycles and have black hair. Some are sexy and/or hairy.

Italy has many old buildings too. That's because the country is way old. I have no idea how fricken old, but rest assured the country is in the very, very old range. I've always wanted to walk around a place that old, but no such luck, although I live in the Linnton neighborhood which is older than my dad.

It would be great to learn about Italy's ancient history while knowing that I can outrun it should it try to capture me. I am much younger and more spry than it is. That's all I've got about Italy. Viva la Italia or what have you.
